Cascade River View Park & Amphitheatre
Location : 101 Pierce St SW
Established in 1914, Cascade's Riverview Park is the oldest of the city's parks. Riverview Park sets in the center of the city next to the North Fork Maquoketa River and offers great views of the river falls. The park showcases the amphitheater and public restrooms, a small pavilion, a playground area, and has lots of shade trees. Cascade Communications Company offers free Wi-Fi to visitors of Riverview Park. The park has direct access to the river giving fishers and splashers a chance to take to the water. Riverview Park & Amphitheatre hosts many community events such as Rockin' on the River which brings live music to the Amphitheatre every June, July, and August. Other events include the Cascade Chamber of Commerce Wing Fest, National Night out and Cascade Hometown Days. Within walking distance of the park, a landing and parking area gives canoers and kayakers the opportunity to float the North Fork to several points south of Cascade.
