Hwy 136 Construction Information
The project includes the full removal and reconstruction of approximately 9,000 square yards of concrete roadway of IA-136 Johnson St SW between southern City Limits & 1st Ave W in Cascade, Iowa including PC concrete roadway, grading & excavation, rock sub-base, sub-drain, hot mix asphalt tie-ins, PC concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveway restoration, storm sewer, storm manholes & intakes, water main, water services, fire hydrants, sanitary sewer main, sanitary manholes, sanitary services, traffic control, temporary erosion control, and hydraulic seeding turf restoration.
Construction will begin May 28 on the Northern Portion. The project will be completed by November 1.
