CMU Economic Development Dollars

This year Cascade Municipal Utilities budgeted $5000.00 in economic development money with the purpose of it being distributed to local economic development groups and not for profit organizations. 

Not for Profit Organizations are invited to submit an economic development project or activity (along with the desired amount of money) to the Utility Board for consideration of these dollars.  Please note typical rewards have been $600 or less for each organization. 

To be considered for these dollars you must explain how your request will benefit economic development in Cascade. If this requirement is not met, your request will not be considered at the meeting.    

If your request is approved at the meeting, we will also need a letter back from you after these dollars are spent explaining what they were used for along with receipts showing the expense.  This letter is due to us by June 30th, 2025.   
 

Please submit all requests to Cascade Municipal Utilities via email, mail or drop box located at the address below by Monday, June 2^nd.    

All requests meeting the criteria above will be presented & considered at the CMU June board meeting which will be held on Wednesday, June 11th at 4:45pm at City Hall.
